A beautiful and elegant pair of Victorian (ca1880) era gemstone earrings! These dazzling earrings, which are petite in size, are crafted in vibrant 18k yellow gold and feature a gorgeous cluster of faceted gemstones along the front surface. Each earring features a beautiful blue sapphire at the center surrounded by a border of old mine cut diamonds. All of the stones rest in mixed bezel/bead settings and are lined with delicate milgrain detailing, beautifully finishing the look. Found on the back of each is a gold post and earring back, allowing them to securely rest on the earlobe. A fabulous pair of cluster earrings, they would make a colorful addition to any collection!?
Measurements: Each earring has a diameter of approximately 3/8" and is a little more than 1/8" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the yellow gold setting and the posts and backs are secure and in good working order. The sapphires and diamonds are intact and securely set.
